The West Virginia Assistive Technology System (WVATS) Assistive Technology Evaluation Clinic (ATEC) offers assistive technology evaluations for individuals of all ages. Assistive technology (AT) is any product or service that makes tasks easier or possible for individuals with disabilities or limitations. The purpose of WVATS is to provide services and resources to help West Virginia residents of all ages and abilities make informed decisions about assistive technology.

The Assistive Technology Evaluation Clinic offers:

  1. Troubleshooting for current AT
  2. In-person demonstrations of AT
  3. AT evaluations
  4. Training sessions with AT
