The Mountain State Conference on Disabilities (MSCD) is a statewide event hosted by disability partners across West Virginia, including the WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities, the West Virginia Developmental Disabilities Council, and Disability Rights of West Virginia.
This conference brings together self-advocates, families, professionals, and community leaders to strengthen collaborative practices that support people with disabilities across the lifespan.
Sessions provide practical tools and meaningful learning opportunities highlighting lived experiences for direct service providers, therapists, medical professionals, educators, policymakers, researchers, students, siblings, and caregivers.
