On August 11, WVATS will be providing training to Therapy Services staff on assistive technology devices and services.
- WVATS will be offering three training sessions for the Marion County Board of Education Academy Aug. 4 and 5 at East Fairmont High School.
- WVATS will be providing training to the TBI program staff at the CED on Aug. 18 in the 2nd floor conference room from 1-4.
- Adventure Pursuit and the Partnerships in Assistive Technologies (PATHS) are teaming up to provide a day of accessible recreation to individuals in WV Friday September 12, 2008. This event will be held at Adventure Pursuit in Parkersburg, WV.
Participants will learn about accessible outdoor activities (biking, kayaking, etc.) and other recreational opportunities like art and gardening.
This event is for all ages, there will be something for everyone!
A $20.00 registration fee is required and will cover meals and the full day of activities, presentations, etc. A check made out to PATHS, Inc. can be mailed with the registration form, or participants can pay the day of the conference. Advance registration is required and space is limited. Registration will come on a first come first serve basis.
