Taking Charge: Activating Senior Networks is a program designed to develop and provide health education materials specifically for seniors in West Virginia. Working together, seniors can "Take Charge" of their health and safety and continue to live full and independent lives.
'Taking Charge' provides health promotion materials on arthritis, heart health, diabetes, being active, eating smart and fall prevention
Taking Charge Announces New Mini-Grant Opportunities
Always looking for new ways to empower seniors in managing thier health, Taking Charge is announcing mini-grant opportunities. These opportunities are intended to briing social agenices, community partners and allied health professionals, i.e. rural health clinics, pharmacists, nurses, occupational therapists, physician assistants, etc, together to strengthen senior networks through sharing and disseminating health education.
