Taking Charge: Stretch Band Exercises
Elbow Curls (Elbow Flexion)
- Sitting in a chair, place one loop of the band around the chair’s arm or around the area of your thigh next to the arm of the chair
- With the palm of your hand facing the ceiling, place the other loop of the band around your forearm
- Bend your elbow, stretching the band so your hand gets as close to your shoulder as possible
- Hold, slowly returning your forearm to the arm of your chair
- Repeat the exercise with your other arm
