LEND Clinic
The LEND Clinic helps families who are concerned about their children’s development. A team from different specialties at WVU assesses a child’s talking, walking and movement, behavior and play to determine how well the child is learning and growing.
This clinic also helps train tomorrow’s professionals and leaders by having them assist with the clinic.
The LEND Clinic sees children ages birth through 21 and is offered as a free service through the CED and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau.
Specialists from pediatric neurology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, nutrition, social work and physical therapy are available to help children, answer parent’s questions and to link them to services in their home communities.
