What can West Virginia AgrAbility do for you?
- We will listen to your concerns, whether you have a dairy farm, fish farm, flower, herb, tree or any other type of farm.
- We can help you find solutions to meet your specific needs through direct on-the-farm visits and recommendations.
- We can link you with other farm families in West Virginia who have had similar experiences to share ideas.
- We can coordinate the community services you or your family members might need.
- We can provide information, workshops and publications on a variety of farm topics.
- We can help you find funding support for the assistive technology and equipment modifications you may need, such as:
- Lifts to help you get into the driver's seat of tractors or other equipment
- Tools that can be used with one hand
- Adapted foot controls for hand operation of equipment
- Modified and ergonomic controls for other farm equipment
- Modifications to help you get around your farm and home more easily
- Other kinds of assistive technology and modifications you might need
Lifts, Hitches, Steps and More

Lifts can be installed to help farmers get on and off tractors and other farm machinery.

Special hitches can allow farmers
to attach and unhitch implements
without leaving the tractor seat.

By adding an additional step system,
farmers with limited range of motion
may find it easier to climb on and off equipment.
