WVABLE Community Awareness and Information Event

Friday, March 22, 2019

Join the State Treasurer’s Office and WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities on April 5, 2019 for a WVABLE Community Awareness and Information Event. The WVABLE, or Achieving a Better Life Experience Program, allows qualified individuals with disabilities to open a tax-advantaged savings account without the risk of losing resource-based benefits such as social security income, Medicaid, and Title XIX Waivers.

On April 5, community members can learn more about the WVABLE Program, enroll on site and speak to community agencies that assist people with disabilities in all areas of life. The Community Awareness and Information Event is being held at the WVU Health Sciences Center Pylons Lobby from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parking is available in the Mountaineer Transportation Center garage on Van Voorhis Road across from Applebees, the United Bank building and Starbucks.
