Celebrating success of youth who have transitioned out of the foster care system

Thursday, May 10, 2018

May is National Foster Care month and there are currently more than 6,000 kids in West Virginia’s Foster Care System. The Mentoring and Oversight for Developing Foster Youth (MODIFY) Program at West Virginia University Center for Excellence in Disabilities is highlighting successful West Virginia foster youth of varying ages who have transitioned out of the foster care system and who have achieved success in different areas. The program is encouraging the community to participate in the campaign by sending an email greeting card to youth (via the CED website) or donating to MODIFY program at give.wvu.edu/ced.
