Resource Coordinator/Clinical Associate
The Resource Coordinator/Clinical Associate will be part of the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) State Program in WV. The primary work role of this person is to: 1) Provide outreach regarding the availability of TBI services and supports; 2) Arrange and conduct technical assistance and training activities regarding systems issues, information about TBI and available services and supports; 3) Facilitate person-centered planning with individuals with TBI; 4) Provide resource coordination for individuals with TBI and their families; 5) Assist individuals with TBI through an application process to pursue funding for unmet needs; 6) Maintain ongoing data collection; 7) Serve as a regional resource to TBI service providers in the region; 8) Participate in activities directed at facilitating consumer participation in legislative efforts to impact TBI funding and policy. Minimum qualifications: Masters Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, Public Administration, Rehabilitation, or a related field is required. Valid Social Work license is preferred. A minimum of one year experience working with individuals with TBI, or other disabilities; experience in resource coordination/case management, and knowledge of WV services delivery systems; experience facilitating group process with individuals with disabilities; and experience conducting training on issues related to TBI, resource coordination, person-centered planning and positive behavior support. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position located in Big Chimney, WV based on an annual salary range of $31,200 to $34,200, plus a generous benefits package.
